Management's operations and maintenance services are designed
to ensure that the plants in our care operate safely, reliably,
efficiently and profitably. To that end, our skilled operators
are cross-trained to provide expertise in areas from controls
to code welding. Our control rooms are fully automated, freeing
the staff for other tasks whenever possible. And our unrivaled
engineering team is continuously working to develop new ideas
and technology to improve plant performance.
The results are impressive. For example, after analyzing several
Performance Monitoring System on the market, our experts developed
one that provides comparable advantages at a fraction of the
cost. What's more, Colorado Energy Management engineers developed
an innovative advancement that facilitates evaporation of finely
misted water in hot inlet air to increase its mass, thereby
reducing gas turbine heat rates and increasing output. Factor
in our on-going commitment to finding creative solutions to
complex challenges, and it's no wonder Colorado Energy Management
is the first choice of a number of independent power producers.
Currently, Colorado Energy Management has operations and maintenance
contracts for seven power plants, with four different owners
in four western states. They are:
