Colorado Energy Management, LLC

The Nebo Power Station is located on the western edge of Payson, Utah.  The plant is a 140 MW combined cycle facility with one GE Frame 7EA Gas Turbine, one Nooter-Erikson HRSG and one GE Steam Turbine. This plant features combined cycle efficiency coupled with rapid start simple cycle capability by the utilization of a HRSG inlet duct damper. Nebo Station's design includes the innovative use of gray water from the adjacent Municipal Water Treatment Facility for cooling tower makeup as a cost saving measure.

Construction of the Nebo Power Station was provided by the EPC Division of Colorado Energy Management and commercial operation of the plant began as scheduled in June of 2004.  The plant is owned by the Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS).

CEM's multi-disciplined capabilities provided for a seamless transition through development, design, EPC, commissioning, startup, and O&M services. Construction was completed ahead of schedule and right on budget.
