

Martin Wenzel is a proven executive with over 25 years of experience in senior leadership and management of private and publicly held companies. Mr. Wenzel has an established record of developing energy projects, marketing energy commodities, and operating energy assets in the US and internationally. Prior to his current role, he served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Miasolè Inc. a venture capital funded solar company based in Santa Clara, CA. From 2001 until 2004, Mr. Wenzel was the president and CEO of Alpha Energy LLC, a developer of energy infrastructure projects based in San Ramon, California. Previous positions include serving as a Vice President for sales at Enron Corporation in Houston, TX, and Senior Vice President at BBI Power, where he was instrumental in developing projects in Asia and Eastern Europe. Mr. Wenzel has a Bachelor of Science from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and a Master of Science from the University of Southern California.


As Senior Vice President of Construction Management for Colorado Energy, Mr. Nolan is responsible for implementing and designing effective and innovative methods to improve plant operations and revenues. He has been with Colorado energy over 20 years and has made significant contributions to all of the operating facilities. Mr. Nolan applies his knowledge and experience through analysis, design, refurbishment, construction, operation and maintenance of power generating equipment. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and currently holds Professional Engineering and/or construction licenses in the states of California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico and Utah.

As Vice President for Operations at Colorado Energy, Mr. Olsen is responsible for all strategic and tactical operational issues within the company. Previously he was an operations executive with Reliant Power overseeing several key assets in the western U.S. Prior to Reliant, Mr. Olsen worked for Fluor Corporation from 2000 – 2005 where he was responsible for their regional business servicing in excess of 4400 MW of coal and gas fired generation. From 1996 to 2000 Mr. Olsen worked for Nevada Power as a maintenance manager where he established a predictive maintenance group to accurately define maintenance requirements and operational limitations at multiple facilities. Mr. Olsen completed a successful career in the U.S. Navy prior to entering the power industry. His background is grounded in the discipline of U.S. Navy Nuclear Power where he received considerable technical and operational experience on a variety of nuclear plants and conventional boilers. Mr. Olsen earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mississippi and received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

As the Chief Financial Officer at Colorado Energy, Mr. Deane is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of Colorado Energy operations. He provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company. Mr. Deane has over 18 years of finance and accounting experience in the power, high tech and public accounting industries. Prior to joining Colorado Energy, he held positions of Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Isonics Corporation; Senior Finance Manager at Sun Microsystems, Inc., and Audit Manager at Deloitte and Touche LLP. He received both his Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida.

As Director of Human Resources for Colorado Energy, Mr. Crist maintains and manages functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Crist has over 18 years experience in all facets of human resources, employee relations and benefits administration, in both the manufacturing and service sectors. Prior to his current role, Mr. Crist served as Director of Human Resources for MacDermid, Inc., a specialty chemical manufacturer, and for The Timken Company in Canton, Ohio, where he oversaw functions in their steel and automotive bearing divisions. Mr. Crist earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Personnel Management, as well as his MBA, from the University of Toledo.
